Born and bred in Brooklyn, New York...Iris Cherry moved to Fort Lauderdale from NYC in 1979. After going back and forth to Palm Springs for many years, Iris decided to make it her permanent home with her childhood sweetheart. They have been married for 33 years and still counting. She is the mother of three and grandmother of two. |
| She was a very successful business owner for more than 20 years. Iris and her husband Mark started a wholesale manufacturing business in their garage, and turned it into a two million dollars a year business with more than 50 employees. In 2004 they sold their business, and are proud to say the business is still going strong. This gave a her life education with strong negotiating and people skills. Here her love for Real Estate started in Fort Lauderdale 8 years ago as a State Certified Residential Appraiser which eventually led her to become a licensed Real Estate Agent. Iris learned the tools needed to access true property value and developed a critical eye...a powerful skill needed in this highly competitive market. She expanded her skill set as a Property Manager for vacation rentals when she first arrived in Palm Springs before becoming a Licensed Real Estate Agent in California. |
